Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting various accounting functions. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our business processes and will provide valuable support to our teams.

Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining the general ledger and ensure accuracy in all journal entries
Perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to ensure financial integrity
Payroll processing (ADP)
401(k) processing
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
Conduct bank reconciliations
Prepare financial reports, including commission reports and job costing, to support management decisions
Utilize QuickBooks and other financial software to manage records effectively
Certified payroll and certified payroll reporting
Assist front office with phones and customer needs as necessary

Skills:
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant platforms
Experience with ADP or similar payroll platform
Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets
Knowledge of general accounting principles and job costing
Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable processes
Attention to detail and high accuracy for data entry
